The name of the latest Russian Air Force aerobatic team will be “Wings of Tavrida” (Крылья Тавриды). Tavrida is the ancient name of Crimean Peninsula, which became part of Russian Federation.

On 8 January 2015 it was announced that the US Air Force would be withdrawn from RAF Mildenhall, RAF Alconbury and RAF Molesworth. A major U.S. Air Force base in the United Kingdom and 14 other installations scattered across Europe will close as part of a sweeping reorganization of forces on the Continent, the Pentagon announced.
